Research findings on benefits in youth- [the value of sports]
With regular participation in a variety of sports, children can develop and become more proficient at various sports skills (including, but not limited to, jumping, kicking, running, throwing, etc.) if the focus is on skill mastery and development.[28][29] Young people participating in sports also develop agility, coordination, endurance, flexibility, speed, and strength. More specifically, young athletes could develop the following[28]
- enhanced functioning and health of cardiorespiratory and muscular systems[28][29]
- improved flexibility, mobility, and coordination[28][29]
- increased stamina and strength[28][29]
- increased likelihood of maintaining weight[28][29]
Moreover, research shows that regular participation in sport and physical activity is highly associated with lowering the risk of diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and other related diseases. According to research by the Australian Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative[30], children can be assisted in dealing with and managing stress by developing their sense of optimism when playing sports.[31]Young people also tend to be more nutrition-conscious in their food choices when participating in sport[28][32][33] Girls involved in sport tend to associate with a lower chance of teenage pregnancy, begin smoking, and/or developing breast cancer.[34] Young athletes have shown lower levels of total cholesterol and other favorable profiles in serum lipid parameters associated with cardiovascular disease.[28][29][32] Sport provides an arena for young people to be physically active and in result reduce the time spent in sedentary pursuits, such as watching TV and playing video games.[29]
Not only this...
Boost your memory
The part of the brain that responds strongly to aerobic exercise is the hippocampus. Well-controlled experiments in children, adults, and the elderly show that this brain structure grows as people get fitter. Since the hippocampus is at the core of the brain’s learning and memory systems, this finding partly explains the memory-boosting effects of improved cardiovascular fitness.
As well as slowly improving your memory hardware, exercise can have a more immediate impact on memory formation. German researchers showed that walking or cycling during, but not before, learning helped new foreign language vocabulary to stick. So exercise while you revise. Don’t push it too hard, though: vigorous workouts can raise your stress levels, which can scupper your memory circuits.
That means the mind and body are interrelated. So keep in mind exercise is necessary to get success. You have to work on your mind and body both to get success. There are gazillions of reasons to show you how our exercise helps our brain to think more creatively or can make you our of a depression state, Anxiety can be handled by exercises. Remember that sport is the best teacher in your life.
So don't sit ideally throughout your whole day. Make sure you learn something by doing. This is the best method to learn because different types of activities in your learning process can help you learn in a better way. And it also doesn't promote sedentary behavior throughout the day.
Don't sit always. Try to learn something related to your mind and body like how our mind works and like these things. The more you learn about your mind, the better you manage your life. The important this is "Win your morning, win your day".
